The story of Piper-Heidsieck began in 1785 with Florens-Louis Heidsieck, a young German passionate about winemaking. Determined to create a champagne worthy of royalty, he presented his first cuvée to Queen Marie Antoinette, marking the start of the house’s meteoric rise.
In 1839, the house became Piper-Heidsieck when Henri-Guillaume Piper, a visionary businessman, joined the company. He played a pivotal role in the brand’s international expansion, making it a staple in aristocratic circles and beyond.

Cuvée 748 from Maison Jacquesson is made from the 2020 harvest of the Ay, Dizy Hautvillers and Champillon terroirs (55%) and the Avize and Oiry terroirs (45%). A few reserve wines from the Domaine complete the blend.
Philipponnat Cuvée 1522 Rosé 2014 is a blend of 82% Pinot Noir from the "Léon" parcel vineyard in Ay and Mailly as well as 17% Chardonnay from Verzy, to which 8% Pinot Noir vinified in red has been added, from Philipponnat vineyards of Mareuil-sur-Ay.
Rare Vintage 2013 expresses the signature of the house, combining a tropical touch and minerality, in two stages. Under an initially reserved appearance, gourmet, pastry and spicy notes develop in a saline, noble and ample tension. The cuvée is made with 70% chardonnay and 30% pinot noir from 11 crus, including 7 classified Grand Crus and 3 classified Premier Crus.
