Wine from a single vine belonging to Domaine Olivier Leflaive, planted in 1955. Who better than this plot to evoke the terroir of Puligny-Montrachet? The land is light and stony, the small water sources prevent it from suffering in summer. Wine of great refinement.
Les Beaux Monts lies to the north-west of the village of Vosne-Romanée, on a steep slope (10% gradient) at the exit of the Combe Brûlée. The altitude of the plot varies from 277 to 289 meters. The plot faces east-south-east. The reddish-brown soil is characterized by a large quantity of light-colored limestone and chailles (silica nodules).
A few steps from the Grands Crus, the premier cru en Ergot rivals in finesse and grace with their prestigious cousins. This is one of the oldest terroirs in the estate.
Domaine Dujac Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Aux Combottes 2023 is a gem of Burgundy, crafted from a prestigious vineyard nestled between grand cru sites. This wine reveals complex aromas of vibrant red fruits, black cherry, and subtle hints of forest floor and spices. On the palate, it combines power and elegance...
The wine is rich, fatty and generous from the attack with notes of red fruits and ripe black fruits. Very round and silky, with supple and tender tannins. This is the very image of the style of Volnay wines. Cave Privée Edition of only 120 bottles.
