Deep bouquet with notes of black fruits combined with smoky and woody touches. On the palate, its rich and generous flesh is supported by a well-marked tannin structure. A wine that faithfully expresses the strong personality of its terroir. Very good aging potential.

In the Côte des Vaillons, there are 8 distinct lieux-dits which may be at the origin of this appellation. The nose is pronounced with notes of fruit and flowers, beautiful freshness and minerality. The palate is generous and refined, with a beautiful roundness.

Domaine De Villaine Bouzeron 2022 comes from Aligoté vines located on the best slopes of the Appellation. Since settling in Bouzeron in 1973, the estate has selected the very old Bouzeron vines of so-called "golden" varieties which give smaller yields and finer aromatic wines.

The name of this 1er cru, a monopoly of Domaine Faiveley, probably comes from the English “My Land”, the name given to these places by an English dignitary. This clos produces a powerful, straightforward and balanced wine. 2021 is a fresh and balanced vintage. The volumes are low but the quality is exceptional.

The origin of the name of the appellation remains uncertain. This could possibly be an ancient form of pear trees. Located to the south of the village, the climate of "Porêts" can be compared to that of "Saint-Georges" in a slightly more rustic style.
