This magnificent Morey-Saint-Denis exudes elegance and finesse, with a silky, satiny texture and a beautiful earthy note. Its aromas of red fruits are highlighted by the aging in qvevri, which are buried earthenware jars. The wine is characterized by its depth, generosity, fruitiness and minerality. The sixty-year-old vines are made from the Pinot Fin grape variety, an ancient strain of Pinot Noir which is becoming increasingly rare in Burgundy.
The Frédéric Cossard Estate, located in the heart of Burgundy, embodies a unique and natural approach to winemaking. A former wine merchant turned passionate vigneron, Frédéric Cossard produces wines without additives or added sulfur, strictly respecting nature’s rhythm. He carefully cultivates exceptional terroirs in Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune, and Beaujolais. His wines stand out for their purity, freshness, and vibrant energy. Each cuvée authentically reflects its origin, delivering a genuine and emotional expression of the land.

A few steps from the Grands Crus, the premier cru Les Corbeaux rivals in finesse and grace with their prestigious cousins. This is one of the oldest terroirs in the estate.
Le Clos du Roy once belonged to the Kings of France. It was considered one of the best plots in the appellation. The Faiveley family acquired it in 1971. This wine could be compared to a village in the Côte de Nuits for the finesse of its tannins and its length in the mouth.
