Volnay Clos des Santenots 1er Cru is a 1.19 hectare plot, a monopoly of Domaine Jacques Prieur. This unique terroir is located in the heart of the Santenots du Milieu, on brown soil, rich in manganese, resting on hard limestone, rounded like pierced stones.
Faiveley Clos Rochette is a neighboring parcel of La Framboisière. The soils are particularly compact, hard to plow, strewn with small rocks giving their name to this climate. This plot has been a Monopoly of the Domaine since 1933.
At the heart of the Clos des Mouches Chanson appellation, it owns a plot of 4.3 hectares. The location is ideal on south-east facing hillsides, bordering the Premiers Crus of Pommard. 2.5 hectares are planted with Pinot Noir on a limestone subsoil enhanced by a loamy clay soil.
