Auchroisk

Auchroisk is a whisky distillery located in the Speyside region of Scotland. Although less known than some of its more famous neighbors, Auchroisk produces quality whiskies appreciated by whisky enthusiasts worldwide. The Auchroisk distillery was founded in 1974 by International Distillers & Vintners, which is now part of Diageo, one of the largest producers of spirits in the world. Auchroisk uses spring water from Dorie's Well, located near the distillery, which contributes to the purity and unique character of its whiskies. The distillery is equipped with eight stills, four wash stills, and four spirit stills, enabling significant whisky production. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel washbacks, followed by careful distillation to ensure the quality and consistency of the final product.
