Following the The Nikka Discovery and The Nikka Nine Decades series, a new chapter begins in 2025. To celebrate the appointment of Junji Iseki as the new Chief Blender of NIKKA WHISKY, the Japanese house unveils The Nikka Limited.
This limited edition pays tribute to the heritage and transmission of blending craftsmanship, a cornerstone of NIKKA WHISKY’s identity. Chief Blenders Shinji Ozaki and Junji Iseki carefully selected rare whiskies that showcase both their mastery of the art of blending and their unique journeys within the company.
The result is an exceptional blended whisky, incorporating legendary casks such as Yoichi 1989 Mizunara, Miyagikyo 1979 Mizunara, and Ben Nevis from the 1980s.
In 1984, Blanton's was the first single barrel bourbon to restore American whiskey to its former glory, and later released a Gold version at 103 proof (51.5% alc). Blanton's features a higher percentage of rye in its recipe, making it drier and spicier (cinnamon and nutmeg). It offers notes of dark fruit, pecan, oak and a touch of sweetness with honey and vanilla.
This limited edition Hazelburn was distilled in February 2007, bottled in March 2025 and produced 10,500 bottles. The whisky was aged for 8 years in Oloroso Sherry casks.
Waterford Micro Cuvée Good Vibrations is made from organic barley from the Lacka farm (25%), peated barley from the Lacken farm (25%) and an ancient barley variety called Hunter from Donoughmore Farm (50%). This particular edition is the result of the blending of four barrels (ex-bourbon), all distilled in 2019. Its flavor and aroma profile, full of subtleties, reveals a...
A true essence of Scotland, Johnnie Walker Green Label is the result of a meticulous blend of exceptional whiskys; a harmonious marriage mainly composed of sweet and fruity Malts from Speyside (Linkwood and Cragganmore) and powerful and peaty Malts from the Islands (Talisker and Caol Ila).
Nikka's first distillery, Yoichi, is located on the coast of Hokkaido, Japan's northernmost island. The malts are produced using traditional methods such as direct heating over a coal fire, which perfectly embody the authentic character of this exceptional place with its marine and finely peaty notes. The blend of whiskies of different ages provides a subtle balance between...
