This whisky is first aged in American white oak barrels that have contained bourbon, which reflects the emblematic style of Jura: fruity and balanced. The whiskey is then partially matured in oloroso sherry barrels for 4 years, further enhancing the roundness and finesse of this edition.

Indigene is a Single Malt (100% Malted Barley) elaborated from a complex blend of eaux-de-vie from the 2012 to 2019 vintages. Aging is carried out according to the eaux-de-vie in a selection of French oak barrels with varied and complementary profiles (new sessile and pedunculate oak, Cognac, Armagnac and wine).
Kilchoman 100% Islay 13th Edition was distilled from the 2012, 2013 and 2014 barley harvests before being matured for a minimum of 8 years in 44 bourbon barrels. The time spent maturing in bourbon barrels has added layers of caramel, vanilla and butterscotch which balance beatifully with the natural citrus sweetness and peat smoke of the Kilchoman spirit.
