The latest expression of the highly sought-after and collectible Ardbeg series, lot 5 of this sublime Traigh Bhan is inspired by the beach of Traigh Bhan on the island of Islay (pronounced tri-van).

In the vast concrete warehouses of the Kavalan distillery, the barrels are organized on different levels according to their size in order to obtain the best maturation conditions. This elegant 12 year old Highland Single Malt is finished in three different styles of aged Oloroso Sherry casks, balancing nutty flavours with the influence of sweet Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks.

Kavalan Sherry Cask is a single malt from the Solist range, a collection of the distillery's finest cask strength bottlings. Aged in oloroso sherry casks and bottled by hand, without reduction, addition of coloring or cold filtration, it is a rich, exotic and complex whisky.
