Last vintage of the 20th century ! 1999 was a tough year for Mother Nature, the Erika tanker was wrecked off the coast of Brittany and Storm Lothar raged in Western Europe. Cognac production was lucky enough to resist this tempest, although the bad weather conditions made it one of the smallest productions of the century, and therefore one of the rarest.

For the Chinese New Year in 2025, the brand is releasing a special edition of its X.O cognac. The packaging, designed by Chinese artist Shuting Qiu, is a vibrant tribute to the Year of the Snake, reflecting the bold and intricate nature of the blend within.

Hennessy X.X.O was created in 1870 at the same time as Hennessy X.O, when the Master-Blender Emile Fillioux chose to reserve eaux-de-vie with promising potential. With the know-how inherited from his family and a 50-year career at Maison Hennessy, Yann Fillioux, 7th generation of Master-Assemblers, decided to recreate Hennessy X.X.O in 2018.
