Founded in 1729, Ruinart is the oldest Champagne house. Its story began with Dom Thierry Ruinart, a visionary monk who foresaw the potential of sparkling wine in aristocratic society. His nephew, Nicolas Ruinart, made this vision a reality after a royal decree by Louis XV allowed Champagne to be transported in bottles.
Ruinart is renowned for its dedication to Chardonnay, which gives its cuvées unmatched elegance and freshness. Cœur de Cuvée 2015 is a Champagne of unique richness and identity with a blend of 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir from old Premier Cru vines in the village of Rilly-la-Montagne. The Wines are made only from the heart of the Cuvée to extract the best.
