Henri Giraud Fût de Chêne MV is the emblematic cuvée of the House, the expression of the Henri Giraud style. MV19 stands for Multi-Vintage 2019: a blend of several vintages from a perpetual reserve since 1990 with the dominant base of the 2019 vintage. Mainly Pinot Noir, all the grapes come from the Grand Cru terroir of Aÿ. Thanks to aging in oak barrels and this remarkable terroir, MV19 presents a great complexity and richness.
Maison Henri Giraud – Champagne Excellence in Service of the Terroir
Since the 17th century, Maison Henri Giraud has embodied boldness and innovation in the heart of Aÿ, one of Champagne’s most prestigious Grands Crus. Blending tradition with modernity, this family-run house crafts its champagnes with a singular philosophy: to elevate the terroir beyond conventions.
A pioneer in aging wines in oak barrels from the Argonne forest, Henri Giraud pushes the boundaries of Champagne expression, producing cuvées of unmatched depth and complexity. Eschewing stainless steel and embracing sustainable practices, each wine unveils a silky texture, captivating aromatic intensity, and vibrant minerality.
From the iconic Esprit Nature to the legendary Fût de Chêne, Henri Giraud champagnes are designed for connoisseurs seeking pure emotion and extraordinary sensory experiences. More than just champagne, each cuvée is a manifesto for a return to the origins of taste.
Cuvée created in tribute to Louis, brother of Elisabeth Salmon, passionate about oenology and very involved in the development of wines since the creation of the House. This Vintage Blanc de Blancs Champagne comes from the best plots of the Côte des Blancs, giving it purity and exceptional minerality.
Krug 2011 is the result of a contrasting and surprising year characterized by its chiseled roundness. The complex blend acquired its balance and finesse during the 13 years spent in aging cellars. An ample, generous and assertive Champagne.
Alfred Gratien Cuvée Paradis Rosé 2008 is an exceptional Champagne from the region's finest terroirs. More vinous than effervescent, it gains in intensity and refinement as it warms in the glass, offering real ageing potential and a style suited to accompanying gastronomic dishes.
David Léclapart's Cuvée l'Apôtre is defined as: "a person who propagates, defends a doctrine, an opinion". It is a 100% Chardonnay Champagne vinified in barrels from a single plot, grafted and planted in 1946.
