Located in the south-west of the village, this climat en Monopole was purchased by the estate in 2003 after a fifty-year lease. It is the smallest appellation in Burgundy - even smaller than Romanée-Conti.

Deep bouquet with notes of black fruits combined with smoky and woody touches. On the palate, its rich and generous flesh is supported by a well-marked tannin structure. A wine that faithfully expresses the strong personality of its terroir. Very good aging potential.

Le Clos du Roy once belonged to the Kings of France. It was considered one of the best plots in the appellation. The Faiveley family acquired it in 1971. This wine could be compared to a village in the Côte de Nuits for the finesse of its tannins and its length in the mouth.

In the Côte des Vaillons, there are 8 distinct lieux-dits which may be at the origin of this appellation. The nose is pronounced with notes of fruit and flowers, beautiful freshness and minerality. The palate is generous and refined, with a beautiful roundness.

Domaine De Villaine Bouzeron 2021 comes from Aligoté vines located on the best slopes of the Appellation. Since settling in Bouzeron in 1973, the estate has selected the very old Bouzeron vines of so-called "golden" varieties which give smaller yields and finer aromatic wines.
