Tesseron Royal Blend is a selection of very old cognacs from Grande Champagne, chosen from the Tesseron family's private collection for their fruity and exceptional floral aromas.
The Tesseron house is one of the most prestigious Cognac houses, renowned for the excellence and rarity of its eaux-de-vie. Founded at the beginning of the 20th century, the house has remained family-owned and passed down its expertise from generation to generation. Tesseron stands out for its commitment to quality and craftsmanship, offering cognacs of great complexity, remarkable purity, and perfect balance. Each cuvée is the result of a rigorous selection of the finest crus from the Cognac region, and aging takes place in exceptional oak barrels. The Tesseron house was founded at the beginning of the 20th century by Alfred Tesseron, in the Cognac region, specifically in the Grande Champagne, one of the most prestigious crus for Cognac production. The house quickly gained a reputation for excellence, largely due to its meticulous selection of grapes and its unique distillation method.
The family heritage of the Tesseron house is deeply rooted in tradition and the respect for ancient craftsmanship. Successive generations have refined the production process, placing particular emphasis on blending and aging cognacs in oak barrels that impart unique aromas. Hennessy asked the Chinese artist "Guangyu Zhang" to decorate its Limited Edition V.S.O.P. in 2019 for the Chinese New Year (the Year of the Pig). The box is accompanied by a superbly decorated red lacquered bottle as well as a drawing by "Guangyu Zhang".
