One of the greatest hedonistic vintages, in line with 1989, 1982, 1959 or 1947. Its color is a very dark red. The nose is very complex, delicate and elegant; aromas of fresh black fruits, blackcurrant, spices and violet combine wonderfully. The palate is delicious and the tannins are velvety. The structure and precision of this wine highlight opulent, ripe and fresh fruit.

The 2020 vintage is the 59th harvest from Henri Duboscq, owner of Château Haut-Marbuzet. The wines are of very high quality due to the lowest yield ever imposed (30hl per hectare).

Le Puy Emilien is an unfiltered wine, from complanted vines with 85% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Cabernet Franc, 1% Malbec and 1% Carmenere. Emilien is obtained by a 2-year decantation in barrels.
