The nose is very complex, delicate and elegant; aromas of fresh black fruits, blackcurrant, spices and violet combine wonderfully. The palate is delicious and the tannins are velvety. 1990 vintage: Bud break and flowering were very early and followed by a very hot and dry summer with some stormy rains at the end of August. The late season was also optimal and allowed the harvest of perfectly ripe grapes. Exceptional year!
